Best anklets to buy online: Stylish gold and silver jewellery

s far as 90s revivals go, anklets may be up there with the best. Dust off your bucket hat, platform sandals, choker and micro bag – it’s time to dive into nostalgic fashion.

Let’s face it, it’s hard to make feet attractive but with the simple embellishment of a silver or gold chain, it can work wonders in transforming their aesthetic – appearing delicate, decorated and ready to jet away to some far-flung destination with your toes wriggling in the sand. A subtle foot adornment can make even the pastiest trotters instantly look prettier and sexier, especially when combined with a fresh pedicure.

It seems we aren’t alone with our anklet affection, according to global fashion search platform Lyst, searches have been steadily increasing since May – up by 23 per cent. The most sought-after styles include gold and silver chains but there has also been huge interest in shell, pearl and beaded pieces, which collectively have grown by 43 per cent.

We’ve selected our favourite to spice up your summer jewellery staples and to be layered up to your heart’s content.
